...to allow media players to integrate Muspy's functionality

Don't want to invent another password. (Stopped me from signing up)

Being notified for new releases is great. But when I get that notification and I visit Muspy to get more information I'm stuck. I only get few information and links to some Jobs.

But what I really would like to have is a link to MusicBrainz so I can see 1) which MusicBrainz ID this release is referring to and 2) get more information for the release and the artist.

A mobile Muspy website would be awesome. Being able to click a link in my phone to go check for updates on a faster loaded mobile website would be awesome!

Many artists have solo releases ("Paul McCartney"), band releases ("Beatles") and alternative names ("Paul McCartney and Wings"). I'd love an option "notify on all pseudonym releases" - so I can be notified on everything McCartney (or any other artist that shows up under different names).

As in: show alerts you would have got for your artists if you had signed up to muspy a week or a month or X amount of time before you created your account. You could even allow reporting of alerts about certain artists over a user specified time frame - that would be cool.

There's only a next button. Updated so they'd be a number line instead with buttons such as next and back followed by page numbers. Also, update the interface a little and allow to browse new releases of this week, a month.

The default page is artists when I login. Normally however, I want to see new releases, not manipulate my artist listing.

Some smaller bands receive their updates on MusicBrainz long after the album is already released. Can I still be notified about it although the album is technically released a long time ago already?

How about the option to scan the folder where my music is stored for artists, present them and have the ability to select the ones I want to add to muspy?

Must have lists, already have lists, wishlists, whatever lists, you get the idea...

I just found out all of my band names were incorrectly formatted when pasting in comma separated ones. Now I have to wait a while for them to be processed and delete them all. Seems like a waste when there could be a button to cancel the import.

I dont have a last.fm account, it would be nice to export a list from winamp and upload my artists that way.

I like the rss feed. But in addition to that I would also appreciate a monthly newsletter including my artist to be more convenient (exspecially for mobile use). Due to the fact that you've already got the Email address of each costumer, that shouldn't be so difficult.

I would seriously want this. It would be a great way to tell my friends about this site and also the artists that I follow.
